Andrea Fujarczuk and Cesar Lefebvre
The first night they met, this couple bonded over their love of food and wine. Since then, they have travelled the world to indulge in this love. They exchanged vows at Granite Ridge Golf Course in Milton, Ontario.
Best parts of the day according to the couple:
- Champagne quickly became a part of our wedding. When we first met it was the first thing we talked about, what we drank and what we bonded over. We gave away mini bottles of sparkling wine away as favours, opened a bottle of Champagne on the steps of the chapel and had an ice sculpture of a Dom Perignon bottle (a brand that Andrea worked for in London, England) with A + C etched on the bottle when you walk into the reception. We tried to incorporate a little bit of sparkle in everything whether it was in bottle form or on Andrea’s Kate Spade Bridal running shoes.
- For the groom and groomsmen we decided to give them all lobster cufflinks and socks because lobsters mate for life, and as Phoebe said on Friends, “He’s her lobster”.
- For the bride, her favourite detail was her late grandmother’s 20th anniversary ring, which was actually given on her 19th anniversary as her grandmother convinced her grandfather they had married for 20 years and not 19 in order to get the anniversary ring of her dreams.
Advice to other brides: Not everything will be perfect, and not everything matters. Focus on the things that are the most important to you and don’t sweat the small stuff. It’s only one day of your life, but make it the best day it can be.
